Spring is in the air…. and I’m definitely try

Spring is in the air….

and I’m definitely trying to think about packing my capsule wardrobe for my upcoming trip to Strasbourg! We have a White night planned and thinking maybe I might add some Navy to it!!!

Still enjoying these projects, that stamp set that I can’t put to one side (I’ve been filming another online class with it today) and these Patterned Papers that are down in price to just £8.22 for 12 sheets of double sided designs, all in 12x12”, perfect for card making and scrapbooking.

Here’s to more spring days filled with sunshine although I fear it will change soon so let’s make the most of it, step outside, take a walk and breathe in that spring air before we need to pull back out our umbrella’s 🤣 (which of course, calls for more craft time!)

Do you love putting colours together?

I love the whole process of creating with stamps, inks and paper but I especially love creating colour combinations. This one teams Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop with some Crumb Cake.

As a lover of the Subtles colour family, my projects are rarely bold and bright and I tend to only use patterned papers in small doses, but I guess that’s what makes up my “style” of crafting. Lots of white space and layer upon layer, that’s what you’ll get from me!

I definitely have colour combo obsessions, do you. I find one I like them can’t step away from it.

Are you Team Blue?

I feel that I don’t pull enough blue products from my shelves of late, but the Serene Love Papers inspired me to reach for Night of Navy, which I do like but I’m definitely more drawn to a Lost Lagoon or Pretty in Peacock shade!

I love Night of Navy teamed with Old Olive, a very masculine combo but when you throw a floral image into the mix, any theme works!

These cards have all winged their way to their destinations and have been spreading a little joy to some of my Team who’ve celebrated recent anniversaries with Stampin’ Up!

I love nothing more than creating bespoke packaging for simple sweet treats. There doesn’t need to be a reason to give them, simply as a sign of appreciation or just to lift someone’s day.
